Poety and Working

In the poem "I Know Why a Cage Bird Sings" its about slavery.This author is talking about people who are slaves and want to be free. It's about slaves who are trapped and yell out for help so they can be free. The author uses repetition and rhyme to capture your interest and to keep you focused on what she is trying to say.

This poem can be connected to poor working conditions because like the slaves who were treated bad by the people who they worked for, people were treated bad in factories many years ago. Poor working conditions continue even today in New York city. The factory workers are getting killed by these horrible working conditions and they are losing body parts like their hands, fingers.

The people that who are hated now are the Jews.

Yes because they allowed black people to Participate.

Day I of the test was really easy. The only thing that was hard was book 2 it was really hard not that hard but a little.
Day II of the test was so hard i couldn't do that many things i tried and i could tell i did a little good.

Langston Hughes

 There was a poem the could relate to Hughes. the poem "I too am America", this poem is about him eating with his family. He would always be sent to the kitchen when they had people come over and eat. He says "I am the darker brother and tomorrow I will eat at the table when people come over" . He is saying that his own family is recesses just because he is the darker one.

Poetry Themes

The poem i am writing about is the Annal Bel Lee. The theme of that poem is all about love.They took his love away from him and he loved her a lot.To me I also think that the theme is about depression.He is depressed because the one he loves has left him.He is sad because he can not be with the love of life.

Poetry Response I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings

My inference is that the author knows why bird wants to be free because she wants to be free also, and spread her wings like the bird.The words in the poem show that the poet wants the bird to be free and he wants the reader to know how the bird is feeling in the cage with his wings clipped and his feet tied.The meaning of this poem is to let the reader know how the bird feels and the sadness in the birds voice.I connect with this poem a lot, big time.I am like a bird who wants people to care for me to never abandon me who never leave me side but i learned that some people don't care and don't hear you out.So the only way to let them see me or hear me i just yell nut still no one is there I'm like the bird.....all alone.And thee picture that's how i feel all alone and just crying,Dying to not be alone!

Poetrry vs Prese

In the article they tell people about the day when colored people were treated bad compared to white people.The article is mostly about Martin King Jr talking about the whites not treating the colored people right.The main point of this story is about the colored people having a war with the whites.

The poem is about this lady and her daughter.Her daughter wanted to go downtown to Birmingham to march in freedom.In the poem the mother told her daughter to go to church instead.When the girl went to church some people boomed it.Now the mother is sad because she can not find her baby girl and she thinks her daughter is dead and cant find her.
